Where We Ramble 

Rob’s Red Jeep Rambles is a Special Recreation Permit-holder through the Department of the Interior: Bureau of Land Management. We are permitted to operate our off-road Jeep tours in the Sonoran Desert National Monument, 30 miles west of Casa Grande.

We will be travelling in a Jeep Wrangler, modified for extra safety and backroad travel. The drive is a slow pace to allow for an appreciation of the unfolding landscape, with plenty of stops for photo opportunities.

Closed-toe shoes are required for when we venture out on foot at our designated stopping points. During the fall and winter months, be sure to bring a jacket. Temperatures in the desert drop ~30 degrees after sunset. We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing that will show up well in your photographs (there will be plenty!)
